The unit has a staged vacuum programme for soft and porous products and also a 'pause' feature for quick marinating of food. It is perfect for sealing food items into plastic bags for sous vide cooking or storing in the chiller / freezer. Once sealed the product's life is extended by up to 12 times ( cooked meat ) or 5 times for raw meat ( up to 15 days ) , with no loss of weight. Ideal for all commercial kitchens. Manufactured from sturdy and easy to clean stainless steel, the lid is made from robust perspex, making it easy to monitor the progress of the sealing.
